Assise au bord du fleuve, une jeune femme aux longs cheveux noirs, regardait la lumière du jour s’éteindre doucement sur l’horizon. Elle affectionnait particulièrement cet instant, un moment unique où les derniers éclats du jour amenaient avec eux des jeux de lumières insolites. Insolites car ils éclairaient de mille feux la pierre qui ornait cette bague. Une bague qu’elle portait au majeur et que les années avaient doucement patiné.
Cette bague, en or pur, possédait enchâssé, en son centre, un saphir d’une grande rareté. C’était un saphir qui suivant l’intensité de la lumière changeait de couleurs. D’un rouge violacé (purple) il pouvait devenir d’un vert tendre virant au gris vert le plus profond. Aucun traitement, ni autre travail de l’homme n’avait permis l’émergence de ce phénomène. Thevet: Traditional Cambodian Dance
Au début du XXème siècle, la Danse Thevet se voulait la représentation de la vie des Nymphes Célestes ou Tévodas, au Paradis d’Indra.Elle était, à l’origine, spécialement chorégraphiée pour une danseuse soliste, la petite-fille du Roi Sisowath, Son Altesse Royale la Princesse Samdech Preah Ream Sisowath Thaveth Ruongsy Nearivong.
Phuong Neary: Traditional Cambodian Dance
Phuong Neary a été ré-adaptée sous le règne de Sa Majesté la Reine Sisowath Kossamak Nearirath Serey Vatthana pour constituer la seconde partie du fameux Ballet Apsara, au moment où les Nymphes Célestes rejoignent l’Apsara Blanche dans les jardins Hemaphean.

“Sì, tuona o cielo… Imperversate o turbini…” recita Edgardo nel vortice d’emozioni della torre di Wolferag in “Lucia di Lammermoor”…. No! Non è la tempesta annunciata della farsa che alcuni mesi or sono vedeva protagonisti un’Orchestra e un Coro del Teatro dell’Opera che si dicevano licenziati con il “placet” del ministero, da un Campidoglio incompetente e da una sovrintendenza giustizialista … La stagione del Massimo romano si è fatta ed è in corso e la produzione del capolavoro di Donizetti (aprile 2015) ne è uno dei punti di forza. Orchestra e Coro, non più “licenziandi” a dimostrare quel che sembrava non si volesse capire, ovvero che le masse sono il cuore pulsante di un teatro d’Opera, ancor più se Fondazione e questi organismi quando ben guidati possono fare la differenza.
E così è stato con direttore e concertatore Roberto Abbado e con il maestro del coro Roberto Gabbiani…

Nella Cambogia non vi è nussuna differenza fra vita spirituale e vita materiale. Ciò ne fa un luogo propizio per parlare du quella spiritualità che si presenta in modo differente secondo li paese e gli usi e costumi locali, ma che presenta una similarità in ogni luogo: la spiritualità aiuta l’individuo a rivenire al centro di se stesso e di riunirsi al divino.

Spirituality is represented in different ways in each country in relation with their habits and customs, though nevertheless there is a similarity everywhere: Spirituality aims to bringing back humans at the center of themselves and link them to the Divine.

Buong Suong Yor Korn – Traditional Cambodian Dance
La danse de Buong Suong est une des danses les plus antiques du répertoire classique khmer. Elle invoque les Esprits des Souverains défunts afin d’apporter Paix et Prospérité au Royaume du Cambodge.
Moni Mekhala and Ream Eyso – Traditional Cambodian Dance
The giant Ream Eyso who was full of anger and greed, went to meet Moni Mekhala on the way to her Kingdom in an attempt to seize the sparking ball from her. When Moni Mekhala saw the giant Ream Eyso, she was aware that this giant really had no good will for her, and then she threw up the ball. While seeing the glittering of the ball, the giant Ream Eyso closed his eyes and flung his magic axe at Moni Mekhala creating its sound as the thunder. But it missed the Moni Mekhala.
While Moni Mekhala escaped from the magic axe and tossed the magic ball into the air creating the lightning that blinded the eyes of the Giant Ream Eyso. The giant Ream Eyso could not bear any more and fell down in front of her powerful magic ball with shamefulness at the end of that battle. Since then whenever there is rain, the glittering is seen and the sound is heard loudly. That is why in Khmer language, any stone has the shape like axe or spade or knife, they are called “Kaim Rontes” (stone axe) and it is supposed that they are the arrows which the giant has thrown down the earth..
